Helping people buy and sell homes is in my blood.

I bring 4 generations of real estate experience and expertise to every file I touch.

Both my grandfather and great grandfather were pioneers in this business. They developed reputations as intelligent, trustworthy business partners, always working for the best interest of their clients. I pride myself on living up to that legacy. My father Carl Sherwood, built and co-owned Atlantic Canada’s largest real estate company, and has been an icon in local real estate over the past 40 years. As for my mother Marcia Sherwood, she has always been one of the top Realtors® in the city and was deeply respected by her clients, peers and family for her tireless work ethic, knowledge of the city and market, her smile and her positive attitude. I am proud to build on my parent’s successes and deliver a quality of client service and attention that’s all my own.

After graduation from NBCC in 1999, I got my real estate license and have enjoyed working full-time in the business ever since. I have had the pleasure of being involved in thousands of real estate transactions and continue to learn with every single one. I’ve been winning awards for production and service in the business since my first year in 1999 as a sales associate. I went back to real estate school and got my ‘broker’s license’ in 2002 and have been taking continuing education courses every year since. I was chosen to sit on the discipline committee at the provincial level and have very much enjoyed the opportunity to be involved in that process and do my part to ensure consumer’s interests are well-protected.

I am the proud father of 2 beautiful sons, Owen (14) and Parker (11) and we enjoy spending as much time together as possible – four wheeling, building lego projects, jumping on the trampoline, just goofing around or hard manual labor. (Yep – all 3 of us actually enjoy yard work.) When I’m not with the boys, you can find me barbecuing, listening to music, cooking or reading a good book.
